Pothos ‘Pearls and Jade’ is a refined, collector-worthy cultivar developed by the University of Florida — and it shows. Unlike the broad, sweeping variegation of Marble Queen, Pearls and Jade features smaller, more intricate leaves with a distinctive two-tone pattern: irregular patches of white and silvery-grey appear alongside green, often with the variegation bleeding into the leaf margins in a way that looks almost hand-painted. It’s a subtler, more sophisticated look than most Pothos cultivars.
Like all Pothos, it’s an adaptable, forgiving plant that thrives in a wide range of indoor conditions. It trails beautifully from a hanging basket, cascades elegantly from a shelf, or can be trained up a small trellis. A perfect choice for anyone who wants something a step above the standard Pothos without sacrificing ease of care.
Care guide: Medium to bright indirect light maintains the best variegation; lower light causes the white to fade. Plant in a well-draining mix rich in organic matter. Allow the soil to dry out about 3/4 of the way before watering — do not allow it to sit in excess water. Average household humidity is fine. One of the easiest, most rewarding Pothos cultivars available.
