This is the most beautiful mustard green variety I have ever grown. Leaves are large and frilly. The leaves have a vibrant green color with purple/hot pink veins and a white stem at the base. I like to harvest the baby greens because they have a more mild/savory flavor which is great for salad greens. Mature leaves have a more pronounced peppery flavor, and the main stem gets thicker and crunchier making it better for stir-frys. This is a great option for warmer climates because it is very slow to bolt. I can harvest leaves over a long period of time.

Germination: 3-10 days

Seed Sowing Depth: 1/4” deep, barely press the seeds into the surface of the soil

Sowing: Can direct sow once danger of frost has passed. In zones +8 direct sow in October to grow during fall, winter, & spring.

Days to maturity: 50 days
